An army of volunteers is coming to Mexico. We have hands to hammer and feet to carry materials, but we now desperately need materials – lumber, nails, and roofing. For just $6,000 we can build a house, a real house to provide dignity and hope for a very real family.

The vision is huge – up to 350 homes, a medical clinic, dental clinic, church, and orphanage.
July is our target date for building to begin. Anthony and the Global Tribe board were recently in Baja to finalize the land. The gift of land through the generosity of a local businesswoman is a true Godsend. There we will build homes with a solid roof, floors, walls with windows, and a door that locks. For only $6,000 we build hope and provide a foundation to change a family forever.

For just $1 a day, you will be a key part in helping a family. Just 20 people giving $1 a day will build a family a home each year. Having the land is great – now we absolutely need building materials.

Collaboration is the key to success. Only working together, will we indeed change the lives of scores of families in the border area of Tijuana and Ticadi, Mexico.

Baja Christian Ministries will coordinate the building, volunteers, and family bible study on site as they have more than 20 years experience.Teen Mania will bring up to 2,000 volunteers and help fund homes. One5 Foundation will build the medical clinic, and we have a commitment for the dental clinic as well. Newsboys will continue generating support for homes from those attending the concerts. Global Tribe Partners provide volunteers, funds, and overall coordination of the project., to change the lives of the poor in Baja.

SO WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
When you first heard of Global Tribe it was about the home building we do in Baja, and you gave generously. Building a village is a massive undertaking, and we need you more than ever. You can help in three ways:

1. Join Us In Funding Homes – We NEED Building Materials
As God leads you, consider being part of the financial support team making the home building possible. The costs are just $6,000 per house, and phase one is a minimum of 50 houses. Some have provided funds for several homes, while others are faithful with $1 a day, each giving as they can. Each and every gift is important, critical in getting materials for volunteers to use to build. We must have concrete, lumber, windows and doors, roofing materials, wiring, and paint.

Global Tribe House Parties
A new fundraising idea we have developed is Global Tribe House Parties – each dedicated to building a house for families in Baja. It is quite simple. It is friends together, thinking global, acting local, to put their arms around a family in Baja by building a home. 2. Pack your tools and head to Baja. You asked for missions trips – here they are!
For several months we have pointed towards building a village in Baja. You have asked about missions trips, and we are pleased to announce three trip partners. With the building site just 30 minutes from beautiful San San Diego, the mission field is in the back yard of our border. Perhaps organize your youth group, men’s group, or women’s ministry to go as a team. Encourage your pastor to go too. Here are the available trips.
